Amy and Byron’s cinematic photo session, part 4, a romantic evening: longing and connection

Happy Valentine’s Day!
Did we deliberately delay the posting of part 4 until today to build up anticipation? No, it is just a coincidence. It was on my list of tasks to do, but I was busy gathering me rosebuds. Sometimes I just have to stop what I’m doing and smell the flowers and enjoy the moment before it is out of my grasp.
I never knew that Times Square during the evening can be so romantic. What a difference a little light makes.
When two people in love get together the distance that separated them melts away. Bryon and Amy congratulations on your upcoming wedding. No distance can keep your love for each other apart.
Bryon, did Willi mention to you that you resemble my favorite Mandopop singer, Richie Ren?

I was totally excited when I heard that Peggy and Patrick’s wedding ceremony was going to be at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. My office is within a stone’s throw from Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, but I have never been inside because of the hoards of tourist.

I thought I was going to get a more private viewing of the church on the wedding day, but unfortunately I was unable to assist Willi that day. Sure glad that there are always the photographs for me to fall back on. No need for me to fight the tourist! Hope you’ll enjoy this slide-show as much as I do.
Did you know that there are two Boathouses in New York City? Last year we photographed a wedding at Brooklyn’s Prospect Park Audubon Center at the Boathouse. This year it is a wedding at Manhattan’s Central Park Boathouse.

What are some ways to Go Green on the day of the wedding?
• Hold your ceremony and reception at the same location
• Ask your guests to carpool
• Find a caterer who uses organic, locally grown food
• Use flowers that are in season, wildflowers or locally grown flowers
• Chose a gown that could be worn again at parties
• Recycle the packaging from your wedding gifts
• Look for a photographer that offers eco-friendly wedding packages
How can a (wedding) photographer be green?
The easiest way for a photographer to be green is to shoot in digital instead of film, which avoids many chemicals used in the film developing process.
We here at Willi Wong Photography strive to run an eco-friendly office. We operate in a paperless environment as much as possible. We believe in a greener lifestyle.
We offer Go Green wedding photography packages that are eco-friendly. Please contact us for details on our Go Green photography coverages.
