I must confess that I can't always tell the fine line between work and play.

On this day I just carried with me a point and shoot camera with video capability. Everything was done spontaneously. This is my second trip on the free water taxi ride to Ikea. And I was still excited! I want to show the beautiful NYC water way and the remnants of old buildings and rusted metal structure that are still remaining on the water front of Red Hook.

This short brought me back to the days of silent film. Shooting a silent film is really about telling a story visually with actions and images. The visual language is universal and does not need translation and that’s how I try to photograph a wedding and when I am successful in capturing the universal language of the human emotions everyone can enjoy it without ever uttering a word.
